Our
Story
We met at Anita's apartment warming party on Dewitt Road (just in
case you were wondering which one LOL). We were friends for a while
before we started dating. Our first date was to a Yankee Game. Geneva and
Anita were supposed to come to the game with us but cancelled for
some reason. It ended up just the two of us.Call it karma. We had so much fun we
decided we should hang out more often. And we did.
We dated for about a year and Carlos moved to NYC to be with
me. We loved our time in New York that’s where we fell in Love. After
being together now for three years Carlos decided to propose.
Carlos traveled all the way to Detroit, Michigan to pick the perfect
diamond with the help of our friend Dima's father.
On our last night in New York City before the move back to NJ, we had
dinner at our favorite restaurant, Hudson Place. We had our usual entrées
pork chops for Carlos and linguini with shrimp for me. After dinner we
went to the Empire State Building. We first went to the observation deck
on the 86th floor to look around. It was a perfect night as you could see
all the way to Yankee Stadium. Then we took the elevator to the 102nd floor
where he proposed. He asked me if "I loved him enough to marry him" and I
said “YES”. He took the ring out of his pocket and put it on my finger.
We are back in NJ with our friends and family planning our wedding.
